At the age of five Kristian was taught his first piano lessons. In 1998 he was admitted to Musikhochshule Luzern (Conservatorium Lucerne) where he received lessons from Diana Binder until 2004
First public performance at the age of six. Relatively early he gained experience at larger public events, e.g. when he was only seven Kristian played in public in front of 350 people
First public appearance with orchestra at the age of eleven
From 2004 piano studies at the Zurich University of the Arts (Academy of Music Zurich) in Winterthur with Professor Karl-Andreas Kolly
Successful participation at several national and international piano competitions - most recently, since Summer 2021: Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competition – 1st prize / Global Genius Music Competition – Gold Prize / IMKA International Music Competition – 1st prize / Best Classical Musicians Awards – Gold Award / ECM Mozart 2022 Mozart International Piano Competition – 1st prize
